Tonight we wanted to create a photo with more dramatic lighting than last night’s image. I set up our key light behind Shannon and used a medium grid to really control the direction of the lights path. Shannon struck a pose on top of her dresser stool and it cast a really great shadow on the wall opposite the light source. We thought it would be fun to play with the shadow and included it in the shot. Shannon stated she felt we had already completed a similar pose but I didn’t find one in our project like this one. It is becoming hard to remember all the different poses and photos we have used so far. I can’t believe it is already the middle of August. Looking back over the photos to assure we were not coping ourselves tonight we had a good chance to go over all the photos taken this year. The first of the project seems like it happened a few years ago now. This has been such a great learning experience for me and hopefully Shannon as well. It amazes me to think that I struggle to take a photo a day for more then two months just a few short years ago and now, here we sit, having completed 224 days of nude photos taken daily without fail.
