Shannon and I set out early for tonight’s shoot. We arrived at the storage building with the last rays of light still streaming over the horizon. It was nice being able to see while we were setting up. We were able to capture a number of good images and it made it really hard to pick the photo I wanted to post for today’s image. I had originally wanted to use an old roll of prize thickets we had found but the photos didn’t seem strong enough for the project. I moved on to our second pose for the photo to really concentrate on. I had a few different versions of this image but decided to go with this one due to Shannon having opened her eyes. I asked her not to convey any emotion as she looked at the camera and I think it gives the photo a very strange feel to it.
Until next time,
