Tonight was a two-concept night. We setup for the first shot but my secondary (rim light) was not large enough to give me the desired effect. I had wanted to rim Shannon’s entire body as she sat on a stool. Our secondary light is relatively small and is great for head and shoulder shots but not good for full body ones. After taking five or six photos we simply abandoned the idea and moved on to another concept.
We actually had talked about Shannon holding this vase over her head. We took two photos featuring her front as well as two more of her backside. I went to review the images and as I did Shannon lowered the vase due to its sizable weight. I quickly grabbed my camera and captured this photo. I really think it works well and the slight amount of foreground interest really brings and added element of interest.
We are well underway on our kickstarter campaign and ask everyone to please go and give us your support. This blog will be for supporters of our project and the clock is ticking. You can view the project by going to http://kck.st/1Bgil1f. Thank you all for your time and interest in our work.
