We set up for a low-key (darker) photo today. I had it in mind to shoot a black and white photo of Shannon’s back with one arm extended toward the light and the other to the floor, which would create a strong diagonal. After taking a few shots I gave Shannon a few seconds to rest and as she did I pushed the shutter as soon as I saw this in the viewfinder. Her tiredness from holding a difficult pose comes through in the photo and we both love it.
